Aimed at the ass
Lesbian anal sex covers everything two women do in and around the ass with tongues, fingers and toys. The anus does not self-lubricate, so lube stays within reach.
Sized from a fingertip up
A tongue around the rim is the softest version, and one or two lubed fingers are the next size up. A butt plug stays in while the rest of the sex goes on, and anal beads give a small jolt as each one is pulled out. A harness with a slim, tapered dildo lets one woman fuck her partner's ass with a strap-on, from behind or face to face.
As far as a gloved hand
Anal fisting is the far end of the range, with the hand entering finger by finger. Toys and fingers that have been in an ass are washed, or covered with a fresh condom, before they go near a pussy. Any toy for lesbian anal play needs a flared base, because one without it can slip all the way in.
